How ITC Works:
ITC uses recorded files that are played for different lengths of time depending on settings, and started in different segments of the recordings based on the mode and inputs. Using ITC: Start: Runs program (ITC will begin to talk ) Stop: Stops Voices (Halts ITC from running) There are three settings the user can control: Sound length: (100 -1000) ms = 1/10th to 1 second Change the duration of time a sound is played. Offset: (0 - 250) Creates a squelch like effect 0 is the most talkative 250 the least. Volume: (1 to 100%) of the devices current volume setting Mode: ( Random , Sensor , Mix ) Random: uses software to create a random selection Sensor: uses the devices available sensors to create a selection Mix: uses both sensors and random at the same time. Voices: (Phonetic, Male , Female ) Phonetic: uses just phonemes ( basic sounds that forms speech ). Male: uses a male voice. Female: uses a female voice. Phonetic file contains 72 phonemes.
